Building on our partnership with Benromach, we were briefed to create the packaging to launch the company's latest expression, an exclusive 35-year-old whisky. Although an extension of the company's portfolio of Speyside malts, it was crucial the design reflected that this was a different and rare expression of the core brand. Working closely with the client, we researched the distillery's rich past, delving into the skills, craft and memories that make the malt so special and appealing.
Inspired by the unique heritage of a whisky 35 years in the making, we designed a bespoke decanter style bottle and labelling, wooden presentation box and limited edition booklet. The distinctive presentation box evokes the distillery's copper stills, dark grained wood of the original washbacks and white limewashed walls. The accompanying booklet celebrates the story of Benromach 35 Years Old and captures the spirit of the place and the people who have nurtured the whisky over the decades.
